Contour and Highlight according to Your Face Shape

We already showed you some tutorials about contouring your face.
Today I’ ll teach you how to contour for your face shape.

As you can see the pictures below there are pink and purple lines .
The pink is where you want to contour and the purpule is where to highlight
You probably know that contouring mean  1 or2 shades darker foundation  then your skin tone and highlighting mean that you take a foundations 1-2 shaeds lighter then your skin tone .
Let’s get started
If you have a oblong face look ate the first picture. That is how contouring should look on your face . Do not highlight because it s going to canceld out the effect of countoring .
This is going to make your face look more oval.
The same trick goes for rectangular face , no highlighting. When you contour focus on the corners of the face , the sides of the forehead and the jaw .
If you want your round face to look slimmer contour on the sides of the face and highlight the chin and the forehead.
If you have square face shape highlight the forehead and chin and contour the sides of the forehead and jaw.
For inverted triangle face shape contour the sides of the forehead and the chin to make it seems slimmer and highlight the jaw.
If you want to soften the angels of the forehead and cheekbones on your heart face shape contour them and highlight the chin to balance out the broads forehead .
Your diamond face shape needs to be softened and evened out. Contour the forehead , cheekbones and chin . Highlight the sides of the forehead and jaw .

For your triangle face shape you should highlight the sides of the forehead to make it seem wider and contour the chin and small part of the forehead .
Finally the key for all this is blending. You should blend the shades togheter sop they look natural.
