There is a saying which says if you are a great makeup artist then you must be able to do a lot of different makeup tricks, especially ones that can make your eyes look in many different ways. Thus, one of the most important makeup tricks you must learn to do are about eye shadows and what you can do with them to make your eyes look even more beautiful. And the truth is that when you learn them you will have not only millions of ways to attract male attention, but you will have a lot of fun doing it. Here is the list of five eye shadow tricks every girl must know!

1 Learn what each makeup brush does
Many girls do not have more than one makeup brush. They use only one eye shadow brush and apply all of their makeup with it. Sometimes they do not even wash their brush before they apply the second color with it and wonder why their makeup is not that good. Well, if you are one of those girls, it is about time to learn that there is more than one makeup brush and you should learn how to use all of them. For example, you should have an angled brush which will serve you best when you want to apply some of the eye shadow on your creases. Another brush you should also have is a blending brush. As its name suggests, it will help you when you want to blend and have no harsh lines. If you want to make your eyebrows, as sexy as your eyes, then you must add a slanted brush to your set. So, step one is complete.
2 Learn what the order of applying makeup is
After you have prepared your brushes and learned their uses, it is time to put them in use with a simple first lesson of learning how to apply eyeshadow makeup. Choose three hues of the same color: light, medium and dark. Begin with the lightest and apply it in the inner corner of your eye. In other words, apply it on the eyelid part that is closest to your nose. This will make your eyes pop and your look will become more awake and brighter. Then apply the medium hue in the center of your eye, and you have probably figured it out that you should put the darkest color on the outer part of the lid, closer to your ear. The end result is really beautiful, the transition happens smoothly and the order of placing the shades helps you with the blending.
3 Make your products work in your favor
You are in need of a new eye shadow that you have thought at first it would suit you well, but it turned out that it actually does not make your eyes pop the way you hoped. This has happened to all of us, but it will be a mistake to throw this away. Here is how this shade can start working in your favor. Get wet eyeliner and cover the whole of your upper eyelid with it. Do not worry that it will be only black. If you want, you can also use a gel liner, there are a lot of makeup trick that show how to do a perfect eye makeup with a gel liner. And after your lid is ready, apply the eye shadow you did not want on top of it. It will immediately look better and more vibrant.
4 Learn how to make your eyes look bigger
There are a lot of women in the world that complain about the size of their eyes. Usually, they want their eyes to be bigger. Well, if surgical intervention is not a good idea, a reasonable solution is to use makeup for this purpose. This makeup also begins with dividing your eyelids into three parts on which you will apply the different colors. So, with an eye shadow brush, apply a very light color in the inner corner of your eye. As you already know, this will help your eyes pop and look awake. As for the other part of the lid, apply just one color that is darker than the first. After this, finish the eye by elongating it, making it more like a cat-eye. Apply the color over, up to your crease shaping a small triangle. And your eyes are now bigger!
5 Learn how to make your eyes look longer
Some women dream of bigger eyes, while other dreams of long, elongated ones. The good news is that all of them have the opportunity to make their eyes look whatever they want with a little help from makeup. So, for this trick you will need an eyeshadow in a natural color, like brown, bronze, or champagne. Whatever one you have, it will do the job. Then apply it on your eyelids and smudge it in the outer corners of your eyes. Make sure it goes up towards your eyebrows. And this is it. You have cute elongated eyes in just a few steps.
