OMG ! The Best Contouring Tips all in 1 !

Contouring has become a one of the trendiest makeup designs of all times. It is not new design, because Marilyn Monroe knew about the contouring and highlighting in makeup, long before Kim Kardashian turned it into a huge trend these days. I want to share with you a few tips that will help you create the best contouring and highlighting coverage every time you put your foundation on. Here we go:

  1. Choose the colors wisely. When you choose the contour and the highlight for your face, you must choose two or three shades difference from your usual blending foundation. In fact, you must choose the colors among the same series of the same brand. And be careful with the orange hues, stick to the brown shades and everything will be alright.
  2. Always apply the highlighter first and do it in light place, the light must be in front of you, not beside or behind you. You must highlight only the areas that catches the light the most.
  3. Choose the tipe of the coverage products according to your skin type. If your skin is dry, use liquid foundations, if your skin is oily, you can use powdered coverage products.
And now a few tips on how to contour your face with a design, appropriate for the day and how to contour it for the night.

Light Contour Design
Use lighter color for the contouring parts and use similar color to your natural for the highlighting step. Apply a dotted line of bronze above the contour line at the cheekbone.
Deep Contour Design
This one is perfect for night makeup, because it is darker and the bronzer is not just a hint. Use three shades darker foundation to contour the right areas of your face and use lighter color for the highlighting part. The contrast between the two foundations must be obvious. Apply teracotta bronze above the cheekbones and blend everything perfectly until the edges blur and merge one to another.
