Lemon
Lemon is a great exfoliator and works wonders in lightening your skin. They have Vitamin C which helps in lightening them.
Potatoes
Now this is another thing which is always there at home. The starch in potato helps in reduction in pigmentation, while the enzymes in it promote healthy skin. You can place the slice directly on the skin.
Buttermilk
It helps in fading the blemishes as there is no burning sensation, You could soak cotton ball in the milk and dab it on your spots and leave it for 10 minutes. Repeat this a few times in a week.
